The day after…

​I’m reeling today, just like I was reeling after the Brexit referendum. But rather than lose all hope, I’m going to continue to be the change I want to see in the world. I’m going to continue to be the person I want my child to grow up to be. I’m going to cling to John Wesley’s words: 

Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can.

    You’ve always been a survivor, and adjusted very well to circumstances! Onward and Upward, you’ve soldiered on. I know that BREXIT, and now the recent US Elections, have not been an easy transition for many of us but ….

    Well put!

    I didn’t support Clinton at all, but nearly cried that night with the knowledge that I’d have to tell my kid that Trump (with all his more obvious “flaws”) would be our leader. I woke up feeling at peace that morning, though, what’s done is done.
